A document accompanying the Price Ring Terms of Service — In effect from: 22.06.2026
This document sets out the general rules according to which the Price Ring Recommendation System determines the order in which Offers are presented in comparison results, product listings, and search results. It serves to fulfil information obligations arising from laws relating to the transparency of search results and offer rankings.
1. Main ranking criteria
The Recommendation System by default takes into account the following criteria, with no fixed hierarchy assigned — their relative weighting may be adjusted to improve the quality of results:
- Product price – the total price of the Offer visible to the User.
- Delivery cost – the total cost of purchase, including any known shipping costs.
- Availability – the declared availability status of the product at the Online Store.
- Popularity – the frequency with which a given Offer is selected by Users of the Service.
- Quality data – indicators relating to the reliability of the Online Store, where available (e.g. order fulfilment history, ratings).
- Advertising cooperation – the status of an Offer as sponsored or promoted under an agreement with an Affiliated Entity.
2. Sponsored and promoted offers
- Offers for which an Affiliated Entity pays a fee for prominent placement are marked in the Service with the label “sponsored”, “promoted”, or an equivalent term.
- Advertising cooperation does not affect the actual price or availability of the product presented — it relates solely to the placement and manner of presentation of the Offer.
- Sponsored offers may be presented alongside organic results, in designated sections of the Service (e.g. at the top of a list, or in a “recommended” section).
3. Affiliate links
- The Service may use Affiliate Links, the use of which may result in the Operator receiving commission, in accordance with Section 3 of the Terms of Service.
- The fact that a link is an affiliate link does not, in itself, affect the order in which the related Offer is presented in organic results.
4. Changes to the Recommendation System
- The Operator may periodically adjust the weighting of individual criteria, add new criteria (e.g. ratings of Online Stores, delivery quality indicators), or remove outdated criteria, in order to improve the quality and relevance of the results presented.
- The current version of this document is published in the Service. Amendments take effect on the date of publication and do not require a separate amendment to the Terms of Service, provided that they do not alter its content.
5. No guarantee of an objective market ranking
- The ranking of Offers in the Service reflects the Operator's applied technical and business criteria and does not constitute purchasing advice, an assessment of the quality of an Online Store, or confirmation that a given Offer is objectively the best on the market.
- The User makes their own purchasing decision after reviewing the full content of the Offer on the website of the Online Store.
